The Office of Enrollment Services is part of Admissions and Parent Engagement. There are offices located on all 2 campuses. Please check back here regularly for important student information and updates.

All Campus locations are open Monday through Friday: 8 am to 4 pm

Information on Student Processes

Enrollment at the Academy for Urban Leadership Charter School is based on a random lottery. If you would like to enter more than one child in the lottery, please complete an online application for each child by selecting your preferred language of English or Spanish. Preference is given to siblings of current AUL students. We also encourage students in bilingual or special education programs to apply. Students who are not chosen for a seat in the lottery will be placed on a waiting list.

18A:36A-7. Student admissions to charter school
 

A charter school shall be open to all students on a space-available basis and shall not discriminate in its admission policies or practices on the basis of intellectual or athletic ability, measures of achievement or aptitude, status as a handicapped person, proficiency in the English language, or any other basis that would be illegal if used by a school district; however, a charter school may limit admission to a particular grade level or to areas of concentration of the school, such as mathematics, science, or the arts. A charter school may establish reasonable criteria to evaluate prospective students which shall be outlined in the school’s charter.
