School Board Overview Home

The Academy for Urban Leadership School Board is a nine-member elected body that adopts policies for the daily operation of the school and sees that the school laws are properly explained, enforced and observed.

"To employ an educational design and experience that merges the highest standards of academic excellence while fostering convictions and commitment to social and economic justice.” 

Speaking at Board Meetings
Any citizen may address the Board at any regular meeting. A reasonable period of time, as determined by the School Board, will be allocated at each regular meeting for citizens to present matters of concern.
